Attorney Advertising
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026
Who we are
Afonso & Archie, P.C., 21 Route 130 South, Cinnaminson, New Jersey 08077, (856) 786-7000. Questions about this policy go to privacy@aanjlaw.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you complete the consultation form or email us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the practice area you selected and anything you write in the message field.
Information collected automatically. Our web server records standard log data: IP address, browser type and version, the pages requested, and the date and time. This site does not run third-party advertising trackers, social media pixels, session recording or behavioural analytics.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, to check whether representing you would create a conflict of interest with an existing client, to maintain the records the Rules of Professional Conduct require us to keep, to protect the site against abuse, and to comply with law.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: with our email and hosting providers acting on our instructions, with our payment processor if you pay a bill online, and where required by law or court order. Information about actual clients is additionally protected by the attorney-client privilege and by our duty of confidentiality under New Jersey Rule of Professional Conduct 1.6, which is broader than this policy.
Confidentiality of inquiries
Under New Jersey ethics rules we owe a duty of confidentiality even to people who contact us and never become clients. That said, information sent through a web form travels over the public internet, and we cannot guarantee it. Please do not send confidential case details through this website. Call us instead.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become matters are retained for the period necessary to run conflict checks, then deleted. Client files are retained under the firm's file retention policy and applicable court rules. Website advertising records are retained for three years as New Jersey Rule of Professional Conduct 7.2(b) requires.
Your choices
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@aanjlaw.com. Some information must be retained where a legal or ethical obligation requires it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the revised version here with a new effective date.
