Kerlin Hyppolite joined Afonso & Archie, P.C. in May 2020. He studied World Languages at Rutgers University while working as a certified language specialist for state and federal courts throughout the United States. Kerlin is fluent in Spanish, Haitian Creole, French and Portuguese.
He enrolled at Rutgers School of Law in Camden in 2011. Since his admission to the New Jersey Bar, Kerlin has represented clients in immigration matters, municipal court proceedings including DWI, criminal defense, adoption and family law litigation.
Kerlin is known among clients for taking the time to listen carefully, identify the core legal issue, and explain what the realistic options are before any decision gets made.
He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
